Emergent, an Indian startup focusing on AI vibe-coding, has successfully raised $70 million in a Series B round, shortly after its $23 million Series A round just four months prior. This latest investment brings its post-money valuation to $300 million, significantly higher than its previous $100 million valuation. The funding round was spearheaded by SoftBank’s Vision Fund 2 and Khosla Ventures, with additional participation from Prosus, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Together, and Y Combinator. Emergent, which has impressive metrics boasting a $50 million annual recurring revenue (ARR) alongside more than 5 million users globally, aims to double its ARR by April 2026.
