Ring's AI-powered "Search Party" feature, developed to locate lost dogs using its camera network, has been expanded and is now available to all Ring users in the U.S., even those who don’t own a Ring camera. This feature was initially launched in the fall of last year and employs AI to identify potential matches for lost dogs by scanning footage captured by neighbors' cameras. Key details include:

Ring, a subsidiary of Amazon, has committed $1 million to providing Ring camera systems to animal shelters, aiming to assist 4,000 shelters by integrating them into the Ring camera network. This initiative is part of their goal to reunite more lost pets with their owners. Furthermore, Ring partners with nonprofits like Petco Love and the Best Friends Animal Society and is open to further collaborations.
