Google Launches Lyria 3 Pro to Elevate AI-Driven Music Creation
View original sourceGoogle has announced the release of Lyria 3 Pro, a music generation model designed to create longer and more customized music tracks. This development follows the release of Lyria 3 just a month prior.
- Enhanced Features: Lyria 3 Pro allows users to generate tracks up to three minutes long, compared to the previous 30-second limitation, and offers improved control over musical elements such as intros, verses, choruses, and bridges.
- Integration and Access: Initially, this model is accessible to paid subscribers of the Gemini app, extending its reach to other applications such as Google Vids and ProducerAI, the latter being a recent acquisition.
- Data and Ethics: Google uses data from its partners, including YouTube, to train the model while ensuring that the model does not mimic specific artists. Instead, it can draw 'broad inspiration' from named artists if specified by users.
- AI-Generated Music Identification: Tracks generated by Lyria models are marked with SynthID to denote AI authorship. This initiative aligns with industry efforts like those from Spotify and Deezer to properly attribute AI-generated music and protect artist identity.
