French lab Mistral AI has announced securing $830 million in debt to fund the construction of a new data center near Paris, which will be powered by Nvidia chips.

  • The plan was first revealed last year by Mistral’s CEO, Arthur Mensch, who expressed interest in exploring financing options in February 2025.
  • The data center is expected to be completed and operational by Q2 2026 in Bruyères-le-Châtel.
