  • Third-Party Tool Usage Restriction: Starting at noon Pacific on April 4, 2026, subscribers of Claude Code are no longer able to use their subscription limits for third-party tools like OpenClaw. Instead, they need to pay for these services on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Steinberger expressed frustration over timing and feature adoption by Anthropic.
